This wine is done in a style to compliment the citrus and minerality of the Santa Cruz Mountains. It opens with a nose that features citrus blossoms supported with notes of white peach and spice. This is followed with flavors of grapefruit, Eureka lemon, and peach on the palate leading to a nice finish.

The wine is done in a Rhone style and shows layers of fruit with an herbaceous finish. The wine has little oak influence, again very similar to what you would find from the Rhone, since most was aged in neutral American oak. It is a delightful bottle of wine to be enjoyed over the next year or two.

90 Points: 2014 Santa Cruz Mountains Professional Tasting This wine is really showing youthful finesse right now. It starts with a full nose featuring black cherry and cola notes leading to black cherry flavors supported by hints of white pepper on the palate.
This wine is sourced from Corralitos and exhibits aggressive red cherry and white fleshed dark plum scents on the nose balanced with hints of anise spice. As we go to the palate the wine reveals notes of white pepper, wild berry, and dusty minerals. This leads to a smooth finish with hints of oak and cocoa.
This wine displays an elegant ruby color with a nose that suggests lavender and violet tied to fig, Santa Rosa plum, and Queen Anne cherry notes. The mouth continues these notes adding strawberries and raspberries to the blend along with some hints of milk chocolate.

This wine opens with a nose filled with bright cherry candy and chaparral/sage and strawberry notes. On the palate it reflects creamy bing cherry and vanilla bean with hints of dried herbs and lavender. It is showing well in its youth and should improve over the next 7-10 years.

This red blend is made up of primarily Syrah and Grenache with a just a bit of Petit Sirah. A nose of black plum, smoke and allspice leads to flavors of smoked meat, red currant, spice, and mesquite. The wine is well balanced with some dusty tannins.
This wine is a Grenache/Syrah blend. Showing a coral pink color the nose gives you aromas of citrus, melon, and spice. This leads to flavors of orange creme, hazelnut, melon, and star anise on the palate with a nice creamy finish.
